She has been selected as a New Generation of Foresight Practitioners fellow to investigate and implement climate-risk mitigation frameworks using foresight and systems thinking.
ABOUT THE TALK
Consumer’s migration to digital, wordly crises, new players and blurring sector borders have heavily influenced the competitive outlook in virtually all industries. Brands are fighting to stay relevant, some tapping into expanding their portfolios vertically instead of stacking lateral benefits to their existing value.
This competitive vision consists of value ecosystems that interconnect services, products and experiences, through which users fulfill a variety of cross-sectoral needs in one experience. Tapping into adjacent needs and closely monitoring trend waves to nurture the ecosystem might be a long-term advantage builder; but it also comes with risk, complexity and unclear governance.
In this talk, we will explore how these visions sit at the convergence of data, trends, customer experience, business ambition, commercial planning and strategic foresight - and how to put it in practice as designers and strategists through systemic thinking and strategic design.
