ABOUT THE TALK
Headless technology has made its way into many tech stacks. It's flexible, enabling endless integration possibilities, and allows for different types of services (such as e-commerce and CMS) to be tailored to the needs and requirements of the project (and the client).
The shape of headless has been evolving in the last few years; Shopify's ongoing advancements, including the Hydrogen framework and a robust Storefront API, pave the way for creative agencies to develop engaging e-commerce experiences without making compromises on features offered by native solutions. Moreover, the decoupling of CMS systems and front-end has proved to be a huge benefit for the development workflow. Integrating a CMS into your project now often only requires a good set-up, knowledge about the API endpoint, and your query.
During this talk, the development team of Antinomy Studio will share some insights on the way they work with e-commerce and CMS solutions.
Baptiste, Paul, and Gwen will explain their approach to headless integrations and how it has been essential in launching several successful experiences for their clients over the past years. Shining some light on the components necessary to develop these internal tools, as well as discussing the benefits and potential drawbacks that they learned along the way.
